Turkey Chili

OVERVIEW

    • Shred turkey or chicken rather than hamburger
    • Start with hot oil in skillet
    • Add onion and cook till translucent – 3 minutes
    • Add 2 TBL tomato paste – 3 minutes
    • Add jalapeño, garlic, green bell peppers – 3 minutes
    • Add cayenne, 1 TBL Worcestershire sauce, salt, oregano, cumin  – 3 minutes
    • Add canaloni beans and tomato pieces – 3 minutes
    • Add 1 C chicken broth – If you have them, add the bones into the broth
    • Simmer 30 minutes
    • Remove bones and serve with cornbread
