Lazy-agna (Lasagna)

This is about as easy as it gets.

Ingredients

  • Thin Italian-style lasagna noodles
  • 1 can prepared spaghetti sauce
  • 1 LG shredded cheese – 4 Cheese Blend
  • 1/2 C cottage cheese
  • 1/2 LB ground hamburger (optional)
  • 1/2 LB ground pork or sausage (optional)
  1. Lay your noodles out in a baking dish
  2. Heat water to 105-110º and pour over top of noodles
  3. Soak 20-30 minutes – while preparing other ingredients
  4. Let drain 5 minutes on a paper towel
  5. Brown your hamburger in a cast iron skillet
  6. Pour in the spaghetti sauce and mix and heat
  7. Pour into a bowl and set aside – DO NOT wipe out pan
  8. Lay down one layer noodles
  9. Add a layer of 1/3 of your sauce and cheese
  10. Lay another noodle layer cross-wise to the first
  11. Add the next 1/3 of sauce and cheese
  12. Add a third layer of noodles in the same direction as the first layer
  13. Add the rest of the sauce and cheese
  14. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350º
  15. Uncover and bake 20 more minutes
  16. Let rest 15 minutes before cutting
