Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

  • 12-20 Fresh Brussels Sprouts – halved
  • 1 TBL EVOO
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Siracha
  • 1 TBL Soy
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1/4 C Water
  • 1/4 C Sugar

STEP BY STEP

  1. Toss sprouts with EVOO and salt
  2. Bake sprouts in oven at 450º for about 20 minutes
  3. Add remaining ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil
  4. Add chopped peanuts
  5. Temper in 1 TBL cornstarch mixed with 1 TBL water
  6. Return to boil and stir until thickened
  7. Fold in sprouts and toss to coat
