Flour Tortillas – Simple

    • 4 C plain flour
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1/4 C canola or peanut oil or melted butter
    • 1 1/3 C hot water (maybe up to 2 C)
    1. Mix dry ingredients
    2. Mix in oil
    3. Add boiling hot water and mix until it comes together
    4. Mix 8 minutes
    5. Let rest, covered 30-40 minutes
    6. Cut into tennis ball size balls
    7. Flatten using rolling pin on lightly floured surface
    8. Brown in a fry pan on medium heat
