{"id":9886,"date":"2016-03-14T00:26:11","date_gmt":"2016-03-14T00:26:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/?p=9886"},"modified":"2018-12-20T11:02:48","modified_gmt":"2018-12-20T18:02:48","slug":"chocolate-roulade-with-raspberries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/chocolate-roulade-with-raspberries\/","title":{"rendered":"Chocolate Roulade with Raspberries"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>6 egg whites<\/li>\n<li>6 egg yolks<\/li>\n<li>3 C double cream<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp sugar<\/li>\n<li>4 tbsp cocoa<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp vanilla<\/li>\n<li>1 cup confectioner sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 LB frozen raspberries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Pre-heat oven to 400\u00ba<\/li>\n<li>Line a large tray with parchment paper and oil it generously with sunflower oil.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk the egg whites until stiff with a balloon whisk on high speed.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk yolks, sifted cocoa and sugar for 2 minutes on high speed with balloon whisk.<\/li>\n<li>Fold egg whites into chocolate mix.<\/li>\n<li>Spread out and place immediately into the oven.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 10 \u2013 12 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile place a large sheet of parchment paper on a clean table surface.<\/li>\n<li>When done, turn out onto parchment paper<\/li>\n<li>Peel off first parchment paper and roll to a roulade, allowing parchment paper to be rolled up too<\/li>\n<li>Leave to cool for two full hours<\/li>\n<li>Whip up the cream together with sugar and vanilla.<\/li>\n<li>Unroll, and fill the roulade with still frozen raspberries and cream, reserving some cream for decoration.<\/li>\n<li>Now roll back up, removing parchment paper<\/li>\n<li>Serve sprinkled with icing sugar and some sprigs of mint from the garden.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6 egg whites 6 egg yolks 3 C double cream 2 tbsp sugar 4 tbsp cocoa 2 tsp vanilla 1 cup confectioner sugar 2 LB frozen raspberries Pre-heat oven to 400\u00ba Line a large tray with parchment paper and oil it generously with sunflower oil.
