FIBER<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 C uncooked rolled oats<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C shredded coconut<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C blanched almonds &#8211; sliced<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C pistachios<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C hazelnuts<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C whole wheat flour<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp cinnamon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Toss above together, put on baking tray, and bake at 350\u00ba for 12-15 minutes<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS &#8211; BINDER<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 TBL butter<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 TBL honey<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 TBL Karo syrup<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp vanilla<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Combine binder in a saucepan and bring to a boil.\u00a0 Completely dissolve sugar and remove from heat.<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS &#8211; FLAVOR FILLING<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 TBL cocoa powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C wheat germ<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C dried cranberries &#8211; chopped<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C dried cherries &#8211; chopped<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C dates &#8211; chopped<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C dried apricots &#8211; chopped<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C dried blueberries &#8211; chopped<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C golden raisins &#8211; chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li value=\"3\">Mix flavor filling in with the oat mixture and the syrup<\/li>\n<li>Lay parchment paper in a large glass baking casserole<\/li>\n<li>Spray lightly with cooking spray<\/li>\n<li>Press mixture onto the casserole<\/li>\n<li>Put into oven at 350\u00ba for 35 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Set on counter to cool.<\/li>\n<li>While it is cooling (don&#8217;t do this while it is cooking)\u00a0 mix below topping ingredients<\/li>\n<li>Start with hot butter.\u00a0 Add a bit of butter at a time until the mixture is like peanut butter<\/li>\n<li>Spread on top of crunch bar mixture<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with Turbinado sugar and salt mixture<\/li>\n<li>Put back into the oven for 10 more minutes to caramelize the top coating<\/li>\n<li>Set out to cool for 30 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Leaving in the tray, cut bars into half, half, half and half making 16 bars<br \/>\nBe careful not to damage your casserole.<\/li>\n<li>Refrigerate overnight<\/li>\n<li>The next morning, remove from pan and re-cut the bars if necessary<\/li>\n<li>Wrap each bar in parchment or waxed paper, then in plastic wrap.<br \/>\nAdd a label under the plastic wrap if you wish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>INGREDIENTS &#8211; TOPPING<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 tsp melted butter<\/li>\n<li>2 TBL sugar<\/li>\n<li>3 TBL cocoa powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp non-fat dry milk<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp cornstarch<br \/>\n&#8211;<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp coarse sea salt<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp Turbinado sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INGREDIENTS &#8211;
