This recipe was designed to make quick, but good, spinach pasta using a Kitchen Aid, and will make a total of about eight servings. We&#8217;ve also substituted Collard Greens and Kale with excellent results. Even Grandpa takes a quality shortcut now and then.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/pasta.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aiif11518 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/pasta.jpg\" alt=\"pasta\" width=\"443\" height=\"105\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 C AP Flour<\/li>\n<li>1 block froezen spinach (drained, chopped and squeezed)<\/li>\n<li>3 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C Flax<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C Whole Wheat Flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C water<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C EVOO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>STEP BY STEP<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix until like Playdough<br \/>\nAdd a spoonful of water or a spoonful of flour to adjust if necessary<\/li>\n<li>Cut into four pieces<\/li>\n<li>Roll into skinny long rope &#8211; about 12 inches long<\/li>\n<li>Roll to about 1\/4 inch with rolling pin<\/li>\n<li>Put into pasta roller at 1 for one pass<\/li>\n<li>Fond and repeat on 1 about four more times<\/li>\n<li>Return into pasta roller at 3 for three more passes<br \/>\nNOTE: The continued rolls will improve the consistency of the resulting pasta<\/li>\n<li>Put through pasta cutter, controlling the strands as they come out<\/li>\n<li>Hang over board or broom handle for 20-30 minutes in four separate groups<\/li>\n<li>Take each group and divide again into 4-8 groups and wind VERY LOOSELY into nests<\/li>\n<li>Set aside to dry for 24 hours before bagging and storing<br \/>\nMake sure they dry out before storing or they will mold<\/li>\n<li>Will keep about two weeks.\u00a0 Four in the refrigerator.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grandma LOVES spinach pasta.
