Set aside<\/p>\n<p>Rough chop, and toast chopped pine nuts, sunflower seeds or pecans in 3 TBL butter<br \/>\n. Set aside<\/p>\n<p>Sugar Sprinkle<br \/>\nMix 1\/4 C brown sugar,&nbsp; 1 TBL cinnamon and 1\/4 C granulated white sugar<br \/>\n. Set aside<\/p>\n<p><strong>In cast iron skillet add<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/4 C honey<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C brown sugar . (or granulated sugar plus molasses)<\/li>\n<li>4 Tbl butter<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp salt<br \/>\nHeat to carmelize<\/li>\n<li>*&nbsp; After caramelized, add 1\/4 C heavy cream<br \/>\nWhisk to incorporate<\/li>\n<li>Spread out layer of nuts over caramel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Dough<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 C AP flour<\/li>\n<li>1 TBL baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp table salt<\/li>\n<li>3 T granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 C heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 of the cherry juice . Just enough to form a firm wet dough<br \/>\n. Add a bit more cream if necessary<\/li>\n<li>Dump on counter to flatten a bit<br \/>\n&nbsp; . On floured surface roll into a square sheet<br \/>\n&nbsp; . Brush with melted butter<br \/>\n&nbsp; . Sprinkle with Sugar Sprinkle<br \/>\n&nbsp; . Top with cherries or fruit<\/li>\n<li>Using bench knife (to make things easier) . Roll into fat roll\/tube<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Roll starting with short side for bigger more lucious sticky buns.&nbsp; If you start with a long side, you end up with tiny buns, and not a lot of filling.<\/li>\n<li>Cut into one inch thick medallions<br \/>\n&nbsp; . use dental floss as a knife<\/li>\n<li>Loosely arrange in pan over top of nuts<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with any remaining ingredients<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Remove and invert immediately on serving dish<\/li>\n<li>Let set on counter 5 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Remove from pan . help buns to separate from pan if necessary<\/li>\n<li>Serve hot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chop any sort of dried fruit Soak in hot rum, burbon or brandy and water 30 minutes Strain reserving liquid .
