{"id":2153,"date":"2012-10-24T19:38:06","date_gmt":"2012-10-24T19:38:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/?p=2153"},"modified":"2020-04-16T09:15:54","modified_gmt":"2020-04-16T16:15:54","slug":"parfait-kind-of","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/parfait-kind-of\/","title":{"rendered":"Parfait (kind of)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Actually, as it turns out, I am not sure what a parfait is.&nbsp; Anyway, this is tasty and pretty.&nbsp; Maybe something like a Trifle?!?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 C Greek yogurt plus 1\/2 C cream with a dash of vanilla mixed in&nbsp;<br \/>\nOR&nbsp; 1-2 C Whipped Cream<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>Mango<\/li>\n<li>Orange sections (minus the vein)<\/li>\n<li>Seedless Grapes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instructions<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sprinkle brown sugar over top of cream mixture and refrigerate for 30 minutes<\/li>\n<li>In a large-bodied wine or water glass, put a bit of the cream in the bottom<\/li>\n<li>Add pieces of Mango and a little cream<\/li>\n<li>Then oranges and a little cream<\/li>\n<li>Then grapes and cream to cover completely<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle some granola over top of the cream<\/li>\n<li>Drizzle top with a few strands of honey for appearance<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Special Steps<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To cut the orange, use a sharp knife and cut inside the veins.
