{"id":17777,"date":"2019-05-11T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-05-11T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/?p=17777"},"modified":"2019-05-11T11:00:32","modified_gmt":"2019-05-11T18:00:32","slug":"tamagoyaki-rolled-egg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/tamagoyaki-rolled-egg\/","title":{"rendered":"Tamagoyaki &#8211; Rolled Egg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/results?search_query=tamagoyaki\">Search YouTube for several recipes and techniques.<\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Beat 1 egg<\/li>\n<li>Put into hot pan with 1 tsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>OPTION:\u00a0 Sprinkle as little as possible spinach, chives, etc<\/li>\n<li>As soon as glisten is gone, roll it as small as possible<\/li>\n<li>Push to the side of the pan and add another beaten egg, allowing the liquid egg to run under and adhere to the first<\/li>\n<li>Add your optional ingredients &#8211; VERY sparsely<\/li>\n<li>Roll the first egg roll around the second flat and cooked egg, creating a larger roll<\/li>\n<li>Push to the side, and add a third beaten egg, allowing it to flow under the roll<\/li>\n<li>Do not add any extra ingredients this time.<\/li>\n<li>When the bottom is cooked, but the top still has a bit of glisten, roll your log over the third egg &#8211; creating one large rolled egg.<\/li>\n<li>Turn out of the pan onto a sheet of waxed paper<\/li>\n<li>Form into a square shape &#8211; and let rest about 3 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Unwrap (discard the paper) and cut the ends off.\u00a0 This will create a nice section in which you can see the layers of rolled egg.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the log in half &#8211; creating two pieces<\/li>\n<li>Cut each of the two pieces into thirds &#8211; creating a total of six pieces<\/li>\n<li>Plate and garnish with basil, cilantro or chives<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Search YouTube for several recipes and techniques.
