{"id":17466,"date":"2019-03-25T17:00:03","date_gmt":"2019-03-26T00:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/?p=17466"},"modified":"2019-03-25T17:00:03","modified_gmt":"2019-03-26T00:00:03","slug":"stuffed-bell-pepper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/stuffed-bell-pepper\/","title":{"rendered":"Stuffed Bell Pepper"},"content":{"rendered":"<ol>\n<li>Cut the top off a bell pepper, and set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the veins and seeds from the body of the bell pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Brown 1\/2 LB 80\/20 hamburger and 1\/2 LB ground pork.<\/li>\n<li>Add onions when meat has browned.<\/li>\n<li>Add 1\/2 tsp cumin, 1\/2 tsp salt, 1\/2 tsp cinnamon, 2 cloves garlic (minced) or garlic powder, and 1 tsp dried oregano.<\/li>\n<li>Stir to combine, then add 1 C chicken stock.<\/li>\n<li>Add 1 can crushed tomato (drained).<\/li>\n<li>Add 2 TBL golden raisins and 8 black olives (crushed).<\/li>\n<li>Bring ingredients back to a simmer.<\/li>\n<li>Place bell peppers in a baking dish, and fill the bell peppers equally with the mix.\u00a0 Put the top back on the peppers.<\/li>\n<li>Add 2 C of water to the bottom of the baking dish.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 375\u00ba for 45 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with a sprig of cilantro and serve with toasted English Muffins.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cut the top off a bell pepper, and set aside.
