{"id":15811,"date":"2018-07-02T07:10:46","date_gmt":"2018-07-02T14:10:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/?p=15811"},"modified":"2018-07-02T07:10:46","modified_gmt":"2018-07-02T14:10:46","slug":"ip-chicken-thighs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/ip-chicken-thighs\/","title":{"rendered":"IP Chicken Thighs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">This recipe is a brief for Instant Pot only.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Oil and season thighs, wings or drumsticks &#8211; 3 minutes<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Press <strong><em>Saute\u00e9<\/em><\/strong> button and wait for <strong><em>HOT<\/em><\/strong> to appear &#8211; 4 min<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Put chicken in IP &#8211; skin side down &#8211; no lid &#8211; let brown 7 min<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">.Remove chicken to plate and set aside<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Deglaze IP with 3\/4 C white wine &#8211; 5 min<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Make sure you have silicone ring on lid or pressure will not work.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Put chicken back in IP &#8211; skin side up &#8211; put lid on and lock it<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Press <em><strong>Pressure Cook<\/strong><\/em> button &#8211; press [-] and set time to 12 minutes <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Pressure cooking will start automatically<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">After time has completed, press <em><strong>Cancel<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Carefully move <em><strong>Pressure Release<\/strong><\/em> toggle to allow steam to escape<br \/>\nNOTE:\u00a0 I do this in short bursts until steam flow has diminished<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Once &#8220;button&#8221; has dropped, remove chicken to plate<br \/>\nIF YOU WANT SAUCE, CONTINUE<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Press <em><strong>Saute\u00e9<\/strong><\/em> button again and wait for <em><strong>HOT<\/strong><\/em> to appear<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Allow liquid to boil and reduce until it begins to thicken<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">NOTE: Allow 60 seconds AFTER pressing <em><strong>Cancel<\/strong><\/em> for temperature to drop, otherwise you may scorch the bottom of your IP<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Plate chicken and sauce over top<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Garnish with chopped rosemary and\/or parsley<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This recipe is a brief for Instant Pot only.
