{"id":15191,"date":"2017-12-23T17:31:54","date_gmt":"2017-12-24T00:31:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/?p=15191"},"modified":"2023-01-02T12:46:54","modified_gmt":"2023-01-02T19:46:54","slug":"orange-marmalade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/orange-marmalade\/","title":{"rendered":"Orange &#8211; Blueberry Marmalade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Note:&nbsp; This is my recipe with a few enhancements from Bobby Flay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br \/>\n8 oranges (washed and zested)<br \/>\n2 lemons (washed and zested)<br \/>\n2 cups sugar (per ea cup of fruit)<\/p>\n<p>1 C blueberries &#8211; for near the end<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step by Step<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash and zest your oranges and lemons.<\/li>\n<li>Put the zest into a LARGE pan or kettle with 1 C water to soak for about an hour<\/li>\n<li>Cut up sections of fruit, discarding the pith and internal segment walls.<\/li>\n<li>Add fruit into the pan with the zest<\/li>\n<li>Bring water to boil, lower heat, simmer for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add blueberries and sugar to the pan.\n<ul>\n<li>For each cup of fruit, add 1 cup sugar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Add pectin per instructions on the pectin package<\/li>\n<li>Stir vigorously<\/li>\n<li>Cook over high heat until it sheets from spoon or candy thermometer reads 221\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Turn marmalade into hot sterilized prepared canning jars<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Note:&nbsp; This is my recipe with a few enhancements from Bobby Flay.
