{"id":1247,"date":"2012-04-08T22:10:26","date_gmt":"2012-04-08T22:10:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/?p=1247"},"modified":"2021-01-09T11:26:05","modified_gmt":"2021-01-09T18:26:05","slug":"white-bread-2-loaves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/white-bread-2-loaves\/","title":{"rendered":"Basic White Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 C flour &#8211; plus more for kneading<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C powdered instant milk<\/li>\n<li>1-1\/2 C lowfat milk<\/li>\n<li>Up to 1\/4 C water (1 TBL at a time) if needed to thin dough ball<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1 pkg (1 TBL) yeast<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp butter<\/li>\n<li>2 eggs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>STEP BY STEP<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix sugar, salt , yeast and half the flour<\/li>\n<li>Combine water, milk, butter over low heat<\/li>\n<li>Add to dry ingredients.
