{"id":11044,"date":"2016-04-21T00:18:41","date_gmt":"2016-04-21T00:18:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/?p=11044"},"modified":"2016-04-21T00:18:41","modified_gmt":"2016-04-21T00:18:41","slug":"potato-fondant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/potato-fondant\/","title":{"rendered":"Potato Fondant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 Idaho potato per person<\/li>\n<li>1 stick butter<\/li>\n<li>Salt, pepper, EVOO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>STEP BY STEP<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Peel potato<\/li>\n<li>Cut two sides off so that you have a \u201csteak\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Season potato<\/li>\n<li>Pour about 2 TBL EVOO in a cast iron fry pan<\/li>\n<li>Fry in EVOO at about 365\u00ba until both sides are a golden brown<\/li>\n<li>Add a stick of butter to the fry pan and reduce heat to about 350\u00ba<\/li>\n<li>Monitor butter.
