{"id":10539,"date":"2016-04-03T20:23:34","date_gmt":"2016-04-04T03:23:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/?p=10539"},"modified":"2021-08-23T16:07:58","modified_gmt":"2021-08-23T23:07:58","slug":"costco-chicken-wings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/costco-chicken-wings\/","title":{"rendered":"Costco Chicken Wings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is the basic recipe for cooking pretty much any frozen chicken wings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_9623.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium aiif10541\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grandpacooks.com\/recipes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/IMG_9622.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300px\" height=\"225px\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>CLICK THE IMAGE ABOVE TO DISPLAY THE RECIPE.<\/p>\n<p>It is actually better to get a &#8220;Party Wing Pack&#8221; from the grocery store.&nbsp; Cut the wing tip off and safe for stock.&nbsp; Cut the remaining two pieces right at the joint.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Thaw wings overnight in the fridge (recipe for 12)<\/li>\n<li>Dry with a paper towel<\/li>\n<li>Spray with Pam or other baking spray<\/li>\n<li>Cook at 400\u00ba for 30 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Flip and cook another 30 minutes<\/li>\n<li>After flipping them, combine\n<ul>\n<li>2 TBL&nbsp; soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 TBL cornstarch<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 C honey<\/li>\n<li>2 TBL Sambal Olek (or 1 TBL Sriracha)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp garlic powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp ginger<\/li>\n<li>1 TBL lime juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Simmer sauce while wings finish cooking<\/li>\n<li>Add 1 TBL chives to the sauce before tossing<\/li>\n<li>Toss wings in hot sauce while wings are still hot<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the basic recipe for cooking pretty much any frozen chicken wings.
